Usq Enterprise Agreement 2018

It is an individual enterprise agreement that includes eligible academic and professional staff as well as TESOL language teachers. The University of Queensland Enterprise Agreement 2018-2021 (PDF, 2.3 MB) is the current UQ Enterprise Agreement. The agreement applies from March 19, 2019. It expires on June 30, 2021, but remains in effect until it is terminated or replaced by a new enterprise contract. For workers whose terms of employment are covered by a written agreement or a contract with the university, wages are set under this agreement. The university may offer salary costs to attract and/or retain skilled staff if it is proven that there are difficulties in recruiting and/or hiring workers in specific positions or occupational categories, as other employers offer much more attractive wages and conditions. This directive applies to all staff members authorized to the corresponding positions, as described in the corresponding procedures. The university`s objective is to present a professional corporate image in accordance with its brand, which identifies university employees by their consequent representation in an optional workwear range. The university supports superannuation systems to provide workers with financial security through benefits paid at the end of employment or in the event of prolonged illness or disability.

The university wants to ensure that workers have a clear understanding of their conditions of employment with respect to leave. The following vacation categories are available at the university: For the purposes of this directive, academic staff are defined in accordance with point 4.2.3 of the USQ Enterprise Agreement. The classification of professional personnel positions is assessed using appropriate workstation evaluation methods, which meet the requirements of the position classification standards set out in the USQ Enterprise Agreement, based on the work to be done and according to the procedures described in the position determination and classification procedure. The university will strive to ensure that workers have a set of appropriate and fair wage rules and rights with respect to their employment and in accordance with the provisions of the USQ Enterprise Agreement. The terms of leave are described according to the appropriate procedure, in accordance with the conditions and rights specified in the categories of the leave plan.
